Born and raised in The Beaches in Toronto, Canada, Perrie Voss is an award-winning screenwriter, editor, producer, and 3-time Canadian Screen Awards nominated actor, writer, editor, and producer. A graduate of the esteemed 3-year theatre conservatory program at George Brown Theatre School in Toronto and spent the first 10 years of her professional career on stage. Now acting in film and TV as well as producing and creating her own projects, Perrie focuses on telling stories with diverse and underrepresented narratives, especially female-led and LGBTQ2IA+ projects.
Perrie co-wrote, was co-showrunner, co-starred, and co-edited Avocado Toast the series, seasons 1 and 2 based on her cocreator's real-life stories and experiences. It is currently airing on OUTtv, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, and more across the globe. Perrie's follow-up series, Stories from My Gay Grandparents premiered at the Inside Out Festival in 2024 to a sold-out audience at the TIFF Lightbox, on which she served as co-showrunner, co-writer, as well as co-starred, and edited and is nominated for 6 Canadian Screen Awards.​
Recently, Perrie edited and associate-produced the feature film Really Happy Someday, which had its world premiere at TIFF in 2024. Currently, she is developing 2 half-hour series and a feature film.
Recent acting credits include: Star Trek: Discovery (Paramount+), One More Time (CBC), One Delicious Christmas (Discovery+), Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), Strays, season 2 (CBC), Revenge of the Black Best Friend (CBC), Adult Adoption (Glasgow Film Festival), The Boys (Amazon Prime), and Letters to Satan Claus (NBC/SyFy).
Perrie is an avid horseback rider, cyclist, downhill skier, tennis player, and runner. She also is a visual artist working in oil and acrylic and has achieved a grade 7 in piano from the Royal Conservatory of music.
